Baby Ayra – The Birth Story

9am-10am
Puteri masih duduk lepak atas katil..bermalasan nk bangun…tapi tetibe nk ke toilet…pastu nampak darah kt seluar…Ooooo n then started feeling contraction pains…it’s coming about every 15mins.. between contractions i felt just fine like normal..cepat2 suruh hubby n Aqil bersiap(diorang syok jer layan Tv mase put3 membebel suruh siap)pastu tepon….K.Lin(x angkat), tepon alang (x angkat), tepon K.Sri (x angkat juga)….
10.15am-11.00am
g b1st dulu kat Presint 9…actually itulah tempat mkn yg paling dekat dgn hospital so kalo sakit sgt terus jer ke sana….hubby g cari makan tp put3 dh x senang duduk…When the contraction becomes around once every 10 mins, Aqil plak berlari2 mengejar burung….put3 just perhati dari jauh jer…tapi kalo mamat tu ilang…jenuh ler bapak dia bising….
11.15am – 12pm
We arrived to hospital…then I waited in the waiting area n dengar suara Aqil yg bising kt luar. Lps tu dtg nurse, Kanagi, checked me. She did a VE, and she said I was already almost 5cm. She said she’ll transfer me immediately to a labour room. I was quite surprised when I heard I was already 5 cm,
12.30pm – 2.30pm
Masuk jer labour room, another nurse took over my care. She put me on the CTG machine,She gave me the ethonox gas and showed me how to use it if I needed to…Thank God my husband was supporting me through every contractions…that is the kind of effective pain relief you cannot get elsewhere..tq sayang..i really appreciate it..then kena masuk air plak because the baby’s heart sgt laju….i was screaming….doa banyak2…..mulut tak lepas berselawat….
Nurse minta put3 baring mengiring…After a while it looks like the baby’s heart rate is ok.
At around 2.30pm, my opening is already big so it doesn’t hurt…Oooo cam nk terberak jer nie…nurse ade benda nk kuar ler…nurse pun dtg tengok n then she said… ok you can start pushing now’ I was like..what? really?? ‘Are you sure??don’t you have to check if i’m already 10 cm before i push?just now i was only 7cm’ She said ‘yeah, i already checked just now, you’re ready! Before it was just your water that was obstructing the opening’. Wow, i couldn’t believe it…
So the pushing process began…ya Allah, the horrible pain, plus the hardwork of trying to push…i wasn’t allowed to scream….but it was hard not to scream..sakit gilaaaa…it felt like i was pushing forever…just when I was ready to give up….
Ayra came out!
the time was 2.44pm..what??punyalah lama rasenye push, rupanya 15 mins jer..Alhamdulillah….I saw her…she was so tiny……I held her…oh, she’s beautiful..my husband just sonyap tergamam…sib baik tak pengsan cam beranak kt Aqil dulu hehe…she looked like Aqil la…..
I had Ayra in my arms already by this time..anything was surely worth it to have this precious baby in my arms..walaupun tengah sakit sgt mase tu
After that my husband took Ayra and read Azan to her…oh it was a beautiful moment…then Ayra had her first breastfeeding session…alhamdulillah…
I fell in love again…This is the moment I have been waiting for….
Ayra weighs 2.77 kg (Aqil was 2.73kg).
So that’s it…that’s Ayra’s birth story…same jer rasenye mase lahirkan Aqil dulu…tak byk beza…alhamdulillah coz tak menanggung sakit yg lame….
